Job Description
- Lead a cross-functional engineering team of 8–12 members, setting technical direction and sprint goals.
- Define and enforce architecture standards for scalable, secure cloud services on AWS/GCP.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, ensuring 99.9% deployment success and automated testing coverage ≥80%.
- Conduct code reviews, mentoring engineers, and driving adoption of best practices and design patterns.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Manage incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem processes to maintain SLA compliance.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR/PDPA and internal security policies through regular audits and training.
- Facilitate on‑site agile ceremonies, pair programming, and knowledge‑sharing workshops to boost team productivity.
Requirements
- 5+ years leading software engineering teams delivering production systems.
- Proven track record designing and scaling cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Hands‑on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and sprint delivery governance.
- Managed full project lifecycle, including budgeting, resource planning, and stakeholder reporting.
- Established incident response processes and reduced MTTR by ≥30%.
- Ensured security compliance (OWASP Top 10, PDPA/GDPR) across all releases.
- Mentored engineers, fostering career growth and technical skill development.
- Experience with microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes) and service mesh (Preferred)
- Demonstrated data pipeline design using streaming platforms (Kafka) or big‑data tools (Preferred)
- AWS Solutions Architect or similar cloud certification (Preferred)
- Background in fintech or regulated industries, navigating compliance frameworks (Preferred)
