About the role
  • Take technical ownership of Central Gateway ECU and Zonal Controller software development.
  • Collaborate with India-based engineering teams and China-based Tier-1 suppliers.
  • Analyse requirements, architecture/design documents, implementation, and test plans.
  • Work on AUTOSAR Classic and AUTOSAR Adaptive platforms.
  • Develop and integrate software for Ethernet Switch and gateway systems.
  • Work with SOA, SOME/IP, DoIP, TCP/IP, and Ethernet-based communication.
  • Work with multi-core MCU architectures.
  • Support system integration, debugging, and validation activities.
  • Analyse vehicle/system data and identify root causes of software and communication issues.
  • Coordinate with system engineering, software integration, and validation teams.
  • Support real-world vehicle testing and validation activities in China.
  • Maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in automotive gateway software development.
  • Strong experience with Central Gateway ECU, Zonal Controllers, and Ethernet Switch software.
  • Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic and AUTOSAR Adaptive.
  • Strong experience with SOME/IP and SOA.
  • Experience with DoIP and TCP/IP.
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet-based automotive communication.
  • Experience with multi-core MCU architecture.
  • Experience with automotive ECU software integration and debugging.
  • Strong C/C++ and embedded software development skills.
  • Automotive experience is required/preferred.
  • Good Chinese and English communication skills, oral and written.
  • Willingness to travel frequently or on a need basis to Huizhou is a must.
  • Preferred location: Huzhou; second preference Shenzhen.
