About the role
- Take ownership of middleware architecture, development, and integration activities.
- Collaborate with India-based engineering teams and China-based Tier-1 suppliers.
- Work on QNX RTOS and QNX Hypervisor environments.
- Support integration between middleware, operating systems, and vehicle platforms.
- Work with Android Automotive OS, VHAL, and HAL interfaces.
- Support Adaptive AUTOSAR integration.
- Develop and integrate communication services using SOME/IP.
- Support integration with Safety Island (SAIL) and MCU-based Classic AUTOSAR components.
- Analyse system behaviour, debug issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Work cross-functionally with system engineering, software integration, and validation teams.
- Participate in vehicle testing and validation activities in China.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in automotive middleware/software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with QNX RTOS.
- Experience with QNX Hypervisor.
- Strong understanding of Android Automotive OS, VHAL, and HAL interfaces.
- Knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR.
- Strong experience with SOME/IP.
- Experience integrating middleware with Safety Island (SAIL) and MCU/Classic AUTOSAR.
- Strong embedded software and system integration experience.
- Good debugging and root cause analysis skills.
- Automotive experience is highly preferred.
- Good Chinese and English communication skills, oral and written.
- Willingness to travel frequently or on a need basis to Huizhou is a must.
- Preferred location: Huzhou; second preference Shenzhen.
