Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer – LVM / Linux to take ownership of Linux-based platform development and embedded system integration for automotive applications. The role will work closely with engineering teams across different locations and contribute to platform bring-up, system integration, and low-level software development.

Job Description

Take technical ownership of Linux BSP and embedded platform development.
Work closely with India-based engineering teams and international stakeholders to drive technical activities.
Analyse system requirements, architecture/design documents, implementation, and test plans.
Develop and maintain Linux BSP, Yocto, and embedded build systems.
Work on kernel, device drivers, bootloader, and device tree development.
Support platform bring-up and middleware integration.
Work with QNX and other embedded POSIX-based operating systems.
Contribute to hypervisor, virtualization, and guest OS integration.
Analyse system issues, perform root cause analysis, and support resolution.
Participate in system integration, debugging, and validation activities in China.
Build and maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Linux BSP, Yocto, and embedded build systems.
Strong experience with Linux kernel, drivers, bootloader, and device tree.
Experience with QNX or embedded POSIX systems.
Hands-on experience in middleware integration and platform bring-up.
Experience with hypervisor/virtualization and guest OS integration.
Strong understanding of embedded system architecture.
Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.
Experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred.
Good communication skills in Chinese and English (oral and written).
Willingness to travel to Huzhou on a frequent or need basis is a must.
Preferred location: Huizhou; second preference Shenzhen.
