We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer – Middleware to drive middleware development and integration across QNX, Android Automotive, AUTOSAR, and vehicle software platforms.
Job Description
Take ownership of middleware architecture, development, and integration activities.
Collaborate with India-based engineering teams and China-based Tier-1 suppliers.
Work on QNX RTOS and QNX Hypervisor environments.
Support integration between middleware, operating systems, and vehicle platforms.
Work with Android Automotive OS, VHAL, and HAL interfaces.
Support Adaptive AUTOSAR integration.
Develop and integrate communication services using SOME/IP.
Support integration with Safety Island (SAIL) and MCU-based Classic AUTOSAR components.
Analyse system behaviour, debug issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Work cross-functionally with system engineering, software integration, and validation teams.
Participate in vehicle testing and validation activities in China.
Maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in automotive middleware/software development.
Strong hands-on experience with QNX RTOS.
Experience with QNX Hypervisor.
Strong understanding of Android Automotive OS, VHAL, and HAL interfaces.
Knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR.
Strong experience with SOME/IP.
Experience integrating middleware with Safety Island (SAIL) and MCU/Classic AUTOSAR.
Strong embedded software and system integration experience.
Good debugging and root cause analysis skills.
Automotive experience is highly preferred.
Good Chinese and English communication skills, oral and written.
Willingness to travel frequently or on a need basis to Huizhou is a must.
Preferred location: Huzhou; second preference Shenzhen.
