Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Engineer (.NET) to build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and system integrations using C#/.NET, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with engineering and business teams to deliver reliable and high-quality technical solutions.

Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations between internal and external applications.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
Develop unit tests using xUnit and Moq, following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
Deploy and maintain applications using Microsoft Azure services, including App Service, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Cache for Redis, and Application Insights.
Use GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control, CI/CD, and deployment.
Apply SOLID principles and Dependency Injection using Autofac or similar frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver features and improvements.
Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend development using C# and .NET.
Strong experience in RESTful API development and system integration.
Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including complex queries and stored procedures.
Experience with TDD and unit testing using xUnit and Moq.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly App Service, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Cache for Redis, and Application Insights.
Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD.
Good understanding of SOLID principles and Dependency Injection, with experience using Autofac or similar frameworks.
Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Good English communication skills, with the ability to communicate with business stakeholders and understand technical requirements.
