What happens if I upload the same batch twice?

Nothing is duplicated and nothing is re-charged. Applicants are matched on email within a role, and an unchanged resume is never re-analysed.

How re-uploads are matched

Re-imports are idempotent. Within a role, an applicant is identified by email — so uploading a superset of last week’s file adds the new people and leaves the existing ones alone.

  • Same email, unchanged resume — nothing happens, and no credit is spent.
  • Same email, changed resume — re-analysed, one credit.
  • New email — added and analysed, one credit.
  • Previously uploaded, now absent from the file — left in place. Removing a row does not delete a candidate.

What if I change the rubric instead?

Changing criteria or weights does not silently rescore the pile. Rescoring is an explicit action, and it costs one credit per applicant, because it is a fresh evaluation against different criteria.
