How do I delete candidate data?

Deleting at each level

• A candidate or a role — email privacy@hyretech.ai with what to delete. We erase it, and the scorecards produced from it, within 30 days of a verified request.
• Your user account — deleting it in the product queues an irreversible purge of your personal data.

How long it takes

Account deletion takes effect immediately — subsequent authenticated requests fail — and queues a permanent purge that runs after a 30-day grace window. Erasure completes inside the 30-day service level either way.

The privacy policy sets out retention for every category of data.

If a candidate asks you directly

For candidates you uploaded, you are the controller and we act on your instruction — forward the request to privacy@hyretech.ai and we action it within 30 days. For candidates who submitted through a HyreTech-hosted talent-pool page we are a joint controller and act on requests directly; send them to privacy@hyretech.ai.
