Each role owns its rubric
A rubric is owned by the role it was written for. A new role starts from a rubric drafted from its own job description, so to reuse criteria from an earlier role, edit that draft to match them. Nothing links the two, which is why editing a backend rubric can never quietly change how last quarter’s frontend candidates were scored.
The trade is that improving a criterion means improving it in each role that uses it. That is deliberate: scores stay reproducible, and an old scorecard still means what it meant when it was written.
