Can I reuse a rubric across roles?
Yes — copy it into a new role and edit from there. Rubrics belong to a role rather than being shared live, so editing one never rescores another.

Copy, do not link
A rubric is owned by the role it was approved for. Copying gives the new role its own version to adjust, which is why editing a backend rubric can never quietly change how last quarter’s frontend candidates were scored.
The trade is that improving a criterion means improving it in each role that uses it. That is deliberate: scores stay reproducible, and an old scorecard still means what it meant when it was written.
